WHAT A GREAT WEEK! First of all, thank you SO much again to our dear friends at @theopenheartsfoundation- they connected us to some great NEW friends at #worldmissionsociety. CLF then picked up 150 MORE amazing boxes of meticulously packaged emergency supplies ( 400 boxes now total!) We then hand-delivered those to our awesome community partners at @themidnightmission . THEN, @lorealparis donated incredible BOXES of beautiful hair and make-up products! When we heard that the moms and children at @unionrescuemission ‘s Hope Gardens had been evacuated back-and-forth during the tragic Hurst Fire, we knew we had to make up some special bags of Valentine’s goodness for THEM! ( Thank you SO very much, to L’Oreal Paris and the awesome WOW ( Women of Worth) staff there!) We also spent the afternoon dropping of Thank You Valentine Cards (coordinated by a very special creative group project from the terrific Open Hearts Foundation) and sweet treats to our local fire firefighters and first responders! Former CLF CIT @benji_mokhtar and his friends also dropped off their own sweet treats to them, having tragically lost their high school. in the Palisades Fire. He wanted to give back this week. What better, sweeter Valentine’s Day story is there? THANK YOU ALSO to our very dearest CLEM ( you are SUCH a 🌟!!!) Dylan McCaffery (good job, buddy) our amazing community partners at @capitalonecafe in Santa Monica, and our tireless CLF Program Director Sean! And, of course, ALL of YOU!
